Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled for pavement work
Warren County (Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016) – Pavement work requires lane closures on Interstate 71 at the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge this week.
The right lane of northbound I-71 will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 13 and the right lane of southbound I-71 will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 14.
The lane closures will be in place between the Wilmington Road exit and the southern end of the bridge and traffic delays may become lengthy. All work is weather dependent.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
