I-75/Hopple lane, ramp closures scheduled
HAMILTON COUNTY (Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013) - As part of the improvements to the Interstate 75/Hopple interchange, work will require closure of the two left lanes of southbound I-75 as well as both ramps from Hopple to southbound I-75, beginning at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25. In addition, the two right lanes on northbound I-75 will be closed, beginning at approximately 12:01 a.m. (dependent on finish time of Reds game). Rolling road blocks will be performed in each direction between the hours of 1 and 4 a.m. All lanes of traffic will reopen by 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
