Hamilton County (Friday, October 21, 2011) – Bridge and pavement work will require the following lane and ramp closures:
Friday, Oct. 21 – Monday, Oct. 24: The ramp from Freeman Avenue to northbound Interstate 75 will be closed each night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The right lane of southbound I-75, from Ezzard Charles to Freeman Avenue, will be closed from7 p.m. to noon on Friday, with the second lane closing at 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday; from 6 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, with the second lane closing at 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday and from 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday, with the second lane closing at 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday. The right lane of southbound I-75, from Eighth Street to Fifth Street, will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday; from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday and from 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Monday, Oct. 24 – Thursday, Oct. 27: The ramp from Freeman Avenue to northbound I-75 will be closed each night from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. The ramp from U.S. 50 to southbound I-75 will be closed each night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The right lane of southbound I-75, from Ezzard Charles to Freeman Avenue, will be closed each night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., with the second lane closing at 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The right lane of southbound I-75, from Eighth Street to Fifth Street, will be closed each night from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 28 to Monday, Oct. 31: The ramp from Freeman Avenue to northbound I-75 will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday. The right lane of southbound I-75, from Ezzard Charles to Freeman Avenue, will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday; from 6 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday and from 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday, with the second lane closing at 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday; from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday. The right lane of southbound I-75, from Eighth Street to Fifth Street, will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday; from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday and from 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Monday, Oct. 31: The left lane of northbound I-75 from Fifth Street to Eighth Street will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
