I-75 Traffic Switch Set for Tuesday, April 24

Traffic Switch Scheduled for Southbound I-75
 
Hamilton County (Friday, April 20, 2012) –Following work operations on I-75 at the Mitchell Avenue interchange Monday, April 23, the left lane of southbound I-75 will be switched into a contra-flow lane configuration on the northbound side of I-75. This switch is expected to be in place by 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 24.
 
In addition, daily lane closures will be scheduled from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, April 23 through Friday, April 27 for both directions of I-75 and Mitchell Avenue.
Work is weather permitting.
 
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
