Mason Road Closure Scheduled for Bridge Work
Butler County (Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010) – To accommodate the setting of bridge beams, intermittent 15-minute closures of Mason Road at Interstate 75 will be in place next week.
The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 and Thursday, Sept. 9.
Traffic control will be managed by local law enforcement, and message boards will be in place one week in advance, advising motorists of the upcoming traffic restriction.
This work is part of the widening and reconstruction of I-75 in Butler and Warren counties.
ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
