Lane and Ramp Closures Scheduled for North and Southbound I-75
Work to accommodate Monmouth Street Overpass project
Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 22, 2010) – As part of the Monmouth Street Overpass work, the following lane and ramp closures will be in place on north and southbound Interstate 75 next week.
Sunday, Oct. 24: The left lanes of north and southbound I-75 will close at 7 p.m., reopening by 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25.
Monday, Oct. 25: Various lane closures of the right and left lanes of southbound I-75, with one lane to close at 7 p.m., followed by a second lane closing at 9 p.m.; all lanes to reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26.
Tuesday, Oct. 26: Various lane closures of the right and left lanes of northbound I-75, with one lane to close at 7 p.m., followed by a second lane closing at 8 p.m. In addition, the Bates Avenue ramp to northbound I-75 will be closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday to implement a traffic shift on northbound I-75. All lanes and the ramp will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the lane and ramp closures.
ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
