(Wednesday, March 16, 2016) – Various lane
closures are scheduled for southbound Interstate 75 and across the Brent
Spence Bridge beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 16. Also, a single lane
closure will be in place on westbound I-71 (Fort Washington Way) to the Brent
Spence Bridge. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. the following day.
The closures are to accommodate inspection of the highway lighting system.
Traffic
will be maintained. Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the lane closures. To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
