I-71 Bridge deck replacement
 
Hamilton County (Thursday, May 4, 2017) – Bridge deck patching on Interstate 71 north of the Lytle Tunnel requires the following closures beginning Sunday, May 7.
 
Various lane closures on Culvert Street, Sentinel Street and Eggleston Avenue beginning at 9 p.m. each night until 6 a.m. the following day, Sunday, May 7 through Thursday, May 11.
 
Also, close the ramp from I-71 south to I-471 south and the ramp from Reading Road to I-471 south nightly from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
 
REMINDER: TRUCK DETOUR - All northbound I-75/I-71 trucks use I-75 to SR 562 back to I-71 or I-275 to I-471 back to I-71 until approximately September, 2017.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zones and various closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
