Interstate 71 lane closures begin
Warren County (Thursday, April 10, 2014) – Bridge repair work on Interstate 71 will require lane closures between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. today.
Work will require closure of the right lane of northbound I-71, beginning two miles north of the Wilmington Road exit, and closure of the right lane of southbound Interstate 71, beginning seven miles south of the State Route 73 exit.
Traffic delays may become significant and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Work is weather-dependent.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
