Interstate 71 ramp
and short-term full closures scheduled
Warren
County (Friday,
Feb. 12, 2016) –
Utility work requires short-term full closures on north and southbound
Interstate 71 at Socialville-Foster Road, approximately mile marker 22.5. The
ramp from Western Row Road to southbound I-71, mile marker 24, will also be
closed.
The
short-term full closures and ramp closure will be in place Thursday, Feb. 18
beginning at 3 a.m., reopening by 5 a.m.
Traffic
will be maintained with law enforcement officers and all work is weather
dependent.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
