Interstate 71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (Friday, June 16, 2017) Work on I-71/MLK project requires the
following lane closures next week.
A single lane closure
is required on north and southbound Reading Road between Hickman and Lincoln
avenues nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. beginning Tuesday, June 20
through Saturday, June 24.
A single lane closure
is required on north and southbound Gilbert Avenue between Buena Vista Place
and Lincoln Avenue nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. beginning Tuesday, June 20
through Saturday, June 24.
In addition, single
lane closures are required on southbound I-71 from MLK Drive to Dana
Avenue from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Wednesday, June 21 until the next day. A
single lane closure will be required for northbound I-71 from Dana Avenue to
MLK Drive from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Thursday, June 23 until the next day.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
