Interstate 75 bridge maintenance
Lane and ramp closures scheduled
Hamilton County (Wednesday, April 26, 2017) – Bridge work requires the following lane and ramp closures beginning tonight.
Monday, April 26: – Double left lane closures on southbound Interstate 75 from Hopple Street to the Freeman Avenue/Ezzard Charles Drive/Liberty Street section beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 until 6 a.m. Thursday, April 27.
Thursday, April 27: Double right lane closures on southbound I-5 from Hopple Street to the Freeman Avenue/Ezzard Charles Drive/Liberty Street section beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday, April 28. In addition, the on ramp from Western Hills Viaduct to southbound I-75 and the off ramp from southbound I-75 to Western Avenue will be closed during this time.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming ramp and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
