I-75 lane closures scheduled for pavement work

Hamilton County (Friday, Aug. 14, 2015) – Pavement operations will require various lane closures on Interstate 75 at Sharon Road and on I-75 at the northbound bridge over Kemper Road next week.

Beginning at 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, the left lanes of north and southbound I-75, with a double lane closure at 11 p.m. All lanes will be open to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.

In addition, beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, the right lanes of north and southbound I-75 will be closed until 6 a.m. the following day.

Traffic will be maintained and all work is weather dependent. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lanes closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
