Interstate 75
short term closures scheduled this week

County (Monday,
January 25, 2016) –
The following short-term rolling closures will be in effect on north and
southbound Interstate 75 near State Route 562 this week due to equipment
relocation:
Various
short-term rolling closures on northbound I-75 from Mitchell Avenue to just
north of SR 562 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following day Monday, Jan. 25
and Tuesday, Jan. 26. Also, various short-term rolling closures on southbound
I-75 from SR 562 to Mitchell Avenue between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following
day Wednesday, Jan. 27 through Friday, Jan. 29.
Law
enforcement officers will maintain traffic. Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming
short term closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
