Interstate 75 short-term full closures scheduled
next week
Hamilton County (Friday, Dec. 15, 2017) - Bridge deck removal requires
various short-term full closures on Interstate 75 beginning next week.
Various short-term full
closures on north and south I-75 between Towne Street and SR 126 nightly
between midnight and 6 a.m. the following days, Monday, Dec. 18 through
Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018.
In addition, the ramp
from Paddock Road to south I-75 and the ramp from north I-75 to Paddock Road
will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Dec. 18
through Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018.
Traffic will be
maintained with law enforcement officers and traffic control devices.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
closure. All work is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
