I-75/Hopple Street
construction update

(Monday, March 9, 2015) – Construction
work on I-75 will require the following closures this week:
Flagging
operations for material deliveries and equipment relocations on various side
streets 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Single
lane closure on Central Parkway between Hopple Street and Monmouth Street for
pothole repairs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 10. Traffic will be
maintained with flaggers. If weather will not permit the placement of repair
mix on Tuesday, this operation will occur on Wednesday, March 11.
Single
right lane closure on northbound I-75 between Marshall Avenue and Hopple Street
beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, with a double lane closure beginning at
10 p.m. All lanes will be open to traffic by 6 a.m. Friday, March 13.
Arrow
boards and signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closure
and detour.
To help
ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic
while passing through the work zone.
