Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project

Hamilton
County (Monday,
November 18, 2019) - The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
project requires the following restrictions this week:
Monday,
November 18: Single-lane
closure on I-74 West from the I-75 North merge with I-75 South between 8 p.m.
and 6 a.m. Tuesday, November 19.
- Single-lane closure on I-74 East from Montana Avenue to
I-75 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Close the ramp from I-75 South to I-74 West between 11
p.m. and 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured using I-75 South to Hopple Street
to I-74 West.
- Short-term full closures (30 minutes) on I-75 North and
South between Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street from midnight until 4
a.m.
- Short-term full closures (15 minutes) on I-74 East and
West within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
Tuesday,
November 19: Single-lane closure
on I-74 West from the I-75 North merge with I-75 South between 8 p.m. and 6
a.m. Wednesday, November 20.
- Single-lane closure on I-74 East from Montana Avenue to
I-75 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Close the ramp from I-75 South to I-74 West from 11
p.m. until 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured using I-75 South to Hopple
Street to I-74 West.
- Short-term full closures (30 minutes) on I-75 North and
South between Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street from midnight until 4
a.m.
- Short-term full closures (15 minutes) on I-74 East and
West within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
- The right lane of I-74 East will be closed just after
the Beekman Street on-ramp from 9:30 a.m. until 6 a.m.
Wednesday,
November 20 and Thursday, November 21: Various lane closures on I-75 North and South between Mitchell
Avenue and Monmouth Street nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
- Short-term full closures (15 minutes) on I-74 East and
West within the work zone nightly between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closures (30 minutes) on I-75 North and
South between Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street nightly from midnight
until 4 a.m.
Friday,
November 22 through Monday, November 25: Close I-74 West from the I-75 North merge with the I-75 South
ramp from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Traffic will be detoured using
I-75 North to Mitchell Avenue to I-75 South to I-74 West.
- Close the ramp from I-74 East to I-75 North from 9 p.m.
Friday until 8 p.m. Saturday, November 23. Traffic will be detoured using
I-75 South to Hopple Street to I-75 North.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 with the work
zones from nightly midnight until 4 a.m.
All short-term full closures will be
maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
