Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project

Hamilton
County (Monday,
December 2, 2019) - The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project
requires the following restrictions this week for pavement repairs:
Monday,
December 2:
- Single-lane closure on I-74 eastbound from Montana
Avenue to the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Single-lane closure on I-74 westbound from the I-75
interchange to Montana Avenue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- 15-minute, short duration complete closures of I-74 and
I-75 between midnight and 4 a.m.
Tuesday,
December 3:
- The ramp from I-74 eastbound to I-75 northbound will be
closed from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via I-75 South to
the Hopple Street exit to I-75 North.
- Single-lane closure on I-74 eastbound from Montana
Avenue to the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Single-lane closure on I-75 southbound from just south
the I-74 interchange to the Western Hills Viaduct from 8 p.m. to 6
a.m.
- Double-lane closure on I-75 southbound from just south
of the I-74 interchange to the Western Hills Viaduct from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- 15-minute, short duration complete closures of I-74 and
I-75 between midnight and 4 a.m.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
