Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
Update
Hamilton County (Thursday,
April 25, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
project requires the following restrictions:
Monday,
April 29 and Tuesday, April 30
- Lane closure on east I-74 from Montana to the I-75 interchange nightly
from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Various lane closures on north I-75 from Monmouth to
Mitchell nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone nightly from midnight until 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained
with law enforcement officers
Wednesday,
May 1 - Lane closure on east I-74
from Montana to the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between
Monmouth and Mitchell from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone from midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained with law
enforcement officers.
Thursday,
May 2 - Lane closure on east
I-74 from Montana to the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between
Monmouth and Mitchell from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Full closure of north Beekman from Elmore to Colerain
from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
- Full closure of the ramp from south I-75 to Hopple from
10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone from midnight until 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained with law
enforcement officers.
Friday,
May 3 - Various lane closures on
north I-75 from Monmouth to Mitchell from two hours after completion of the
Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m.
- Various lane closures on south I-75 from Mitchell to
Monmouth from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Full closure of north Beekman from Elmore to Colerain
from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone from midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained with law
enforcement officers.
Saturday,
May 4 - Various lane closures on
north I-75 from Monmouth to Mitchell from two hours after completion of the
Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m.
- Various lane closures on south I-75 from Mitchell to
Monmouth from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone from midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained with law
enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
