Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project Update

Hamilton County (Thursday, July 11, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project requires the following restrictions next week:
Monday, July 15 through Wednesday, July 17 - Single lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zones between midnight and 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Thursday, July 18 - Single lane closure on east I-74 from Montana Avenue to the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, July 19.
  • Single lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue nightly from two hours after the end of the Cincinnati Reds/FC Cincinnati games until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zones between midnight and 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20 - Single lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue nightly from two hours after the end of the Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m. the following day.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zones between midnight and 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
