Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project update
Hamilton County (Friday,
Jan. 4, 2019) - Overhead utility and pavement work on the
Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project require the following restrictions.
Various lane closures
on north and south I-75 between Sharon Road and Wyoming Avenue from 9 a.m.
until 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5.
Short-term full
closures on north and south I-75 just south of Shepherd Avenue from midnight
until 4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 and Thursday, Jan. 10. Traffic will be
maintained by law enforcement officers.
Close the ramp from
Shepherd Avenue to south I-75 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 and
Thursday, Jan. 10.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather and if needed, work will
be rescheduled accordingly.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
