Hamilton County (Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018) - Work on the Interstate 75/Thru the
Valley project requires closing West Forrer Ave. between Moock Ave. and
Shepherd Ln. beginning 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 until Dec. 2019 to
construct a temporary ramp to southbound I-75.
There will be no access
to West Forrer from Bacon St.; Eggerding Dr.; and Highland, Pershing, Home,
Jonte, and Catherine aves.
Motorists should use
North Copper Ave. as a detour.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
