Lane closures scheduled for
highway lighting work
Hamilton
County (REVISED Wednesday, March 4, 2015) – Highway lighting
work will require lane closures on Interstate 71 and State Route 126 next week.
The right lane of southbound I-71 at Kenwood Road
will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 until 5 a.m. Thursday, March 12.
Also, the right lane of westbound SR 126 at U.S. 42
will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 until 5 a.m. Thursday, March 12.
Local law enforcement officers will be used to
maintain traffic and all work is weather permitting.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
closures.
To help
ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic
while passing through the work zone.
