Lytle Tunnel work requires local road closures
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015) – Concrete work for the Lytle Tunnel will require lane and road closures next week.
Beginning at 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, Pike Street will be closed between Fourth Street and East Third Street until approximately 4 p.m. the following day. In addition, westbound Fourth Street will be reduced to one lane during this time. Access to local businesses will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and road closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
