Open House Scheduled for Northside Arterial Project
Regarding the improvements along Colerain Avenue, from the I-74 exit ramp to Blue Rock Street;
and along Blue Rock Street, from Colerain Avenue to Spring Grove Avenue
CINCINNATI(oCT 4, 2010) – An open house concerning the Northside Arterial Project is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 at the McKie Recreation Center located at 1655 Chase Ave., Cincinnati. The meeting is being hosted by the City of Cincinnati in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Transportation, District 8, and M•E Companies Inc.
This project involves roadway, bicycle and pedestrian improvements along Colerain Avenue (U.S. 27) from the Interstate 74 exit ramp to Blue Rock Street, and along Blue Rock Street from Colerain Avenue to Spring Grove Avenue. The project also includes intersection improvements to the Colerain Avenue-Spring Grove Avenue-Elmore Street triangular network.
The public is invited to visit anytime during the open house to view and comment on conceptual alternatives planned for the project. Exhibits will be on display, along with additional project information. Personnel from ODOT, city staff and project team members will be present to answer questions, and comment sheets will be available for public input.
