Pennyroyal Road Bridge to Close for 150 Days

Warren County (Friday, June 4, 2010) To accommodate bridge replacement work, Pennyroyal Road over Interstate 75 will be closed to traffic for 150 days, beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 7.

Pennyroyal and Clearcreek roads are open to two-way traffic up to where side roads Clearcreek-Franklin and Pennyroyal  roads parallel I-75. Detour is Pennyroyal Road to Dixie Highway to SR 73 to Clearcreek-Franklin Road.

Also on Monday, the northbound left lane of I-75 will be closed for approximately one mile, beginning just south of SR 122. The closure, which will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, is for the placement of concrete on the new I-75 bridge over SR 122.

 This work is part of the widening and reconstruction of  I-75 in Warren County.

 ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
