State Route 129 closure scheduled for culvert replacement*
 
Butler County (Wednesday, May 10, 2017) – Culvert replacement requires closing State Route 129 (Hamilton Scipio Road) at North Weaver Road (mile marker 1.86) beginning next week.
 
Beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 16  Thursday, May 18, SR 129 will be closed between Hart and North Weaver roads until approximately 3 p.m. Monday, June 5 Thursday, June 8. The detour uses SR 126 and SR 748.
 
*Work will not begin on this culvert until SR 126 between Chapel and Race Lane roads is open to traffic, after which an updated advisory will be sent. Please remember, all work is contingent upon weather.*
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the road closure.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
