Road closure update

 

Roads closed for construction

 Various road closures in District 8 are or will be in place for construction work:

Butler County:

• SR 126 east of North Dwyer Road near the Ohio/Indiana state line is closed for culvert replacement work. Detour for SR 126, which is expected to reopen to traffic June 29, is SR 748 to SR 129.
• Culvert replacement work will require a two-week closure on State Route 732 at Dunwoody Road in Reily Twp. beginning Monday, July 6. The closure on SR 732 will be located at the intersection of SR 732 and Dunwoody. The detour route for northbound SR 732 is eastbound SR 129 to northbound U.S. 27 to SR 732; southbound SR 732 will use the reverse detour. Upon completion of work on SR 732, Dunwoody Road at its intersection with SR 732 will be closed for culvert work. Dunwoody traffic will be detoured to Garner Road to SR 129 to SR 732.​
• Bridge replacement work requires a 90-day closure of Strebee Road (Twp. Road 8) in Madison Twp. at its T-intersection with West Alexandria Road beginning Wednesday, June 17. A detour route is posted.

Greene County:

A two-week closure on State Route 380 for culvert replacement work will begin Monday, July 6.

The closure will be located between Spring Valley-Paintersville and Roxanna-New Burlington roads. Northbound SR 380 traffic will be detoured to west SR 73 to north Interstate 71 to north US 68 to SR 380; southbound traffic will use reverse detour.

Clermont County:

• Bridge repair work requires a 30-day lane closure on U.S. 52 in Point Pleasant, beginning Friday, June 19, with two-way traffic maintained by a traffic signal.
