SR 122 closure scheduled for culvert work
Butler County (Wednesday, July 29, 2015) – State Route 122 will be closed for five days for culvert replacement work south of Gingrich Road beginning Monday, Aug. 10.
SR 122 will be closed between West Elkton Gifford Road and SR 744. Northbound SR 122 traffic will be detoured to west on SR 744 to north on SR 503 to east on West Elkton Gifford Road. Southbound SR 122 traffic will use the reverse detour.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming full closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
