SR 343 closure scheduled for culvert work

SR 343 closure scheduled for culvert work
Greene County (Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015) – Work to accommodate culvert work will require closure of State Route 343 next week.
The week of Oct. 19, SR 343 will be closed between SR 72 and U.S. 68 from 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19 through 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.
The detour for eastbound SR 343 traffic is north on U.S. 68 to east on SR 794 to south on SR 72, with westbound SR 343 traffic using the detour in reverse.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
