SR 741 closure to begin Sept. 3

Closure of south leg of SR 741 in Red Lion to begin Sept. 3

Warren County (Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013) – The next phase of work for the Red Lion-Five Points Intersection realignment project will require closing State Route 741, beginning at its intersection with SR 122 to approximately 900 feet south of the intersection.

The closure will begin Tuesday, Sept. 3 and will be in place for 28 days. Traffic will be detoured to Greentree Road to SR 123 to SR 122.  Local traffic within the project limits and school buses will be allowed access through the work zone.

This is the final detour for this project, which is expected to be complete by October 2013.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone
