SR 4 Bypass/Symmes Road Intersection Closure

 

SR 4 Bypass/Symmes Rd. intersection closure slated

Closure to accommodate storm sewer work

Butler County (Friday, October 22, 2010)Storm sewer work at the intersection of the State Route 4 Bypass and Symmes Road will require the assistance of local law enforcement to maintain traffic from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 to 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27. The intersection will remain open to traffic.

This intersection will be closed to traffic from 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 to 5:30 a.m. Friday, Oct 29, for the installation of a drainage pipe in the intersection. Local law enforcement officers will be on SR 4 Bypass at the intersections of Tylersville Road and Port Union Road to assist with traffic control.

Barricades and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the intersection closure.

ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
