Short-term,
full closure of Interstate 71 near MLK
scheduled Friday, Nov. 20
Hamilton County (Wednesday,
Nov. 18, 2015) – Utility work will require two 15-minute
full closures this week of north and southbound Interstate 71 at the Blair Road
overpass located north of Martin Luther King Drive.
The first closure will
take place at 12:01 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20 with the second closure taking place at
approximately 1 a.m.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone. To help ensure
the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic
while passing through the work zone.
