State Route 121
closure to begin July 28

County (Friday,
July 25, 2014) –
State Route 121 is now open to traffic for the weekend.
On
Monday, July 28, it will be closed again just north of New Paris for culvert
replacement work. The closure will be in
effect for two weeks.
The
detour for southbound SR 121 will be north on SR 121 to SR 722 in Darke County
to SR 726 to US 40 to SR 320 to SR 121. Northbound SR 121 traffic will use the
same detour in reverse.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming road closure.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
