State Route 129 closure scheduled to begin
Monday, Oct. 22
Butler County (Monday, Oct. 15, 2018) - Culvert replacement
requires a full closure of State Route 129, east of South Weaver Road, starting
at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 until approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. SR 129
will be closed near the intersection of Cincinnati-Brookville Road to
the intersection of Chapel Road.
Local traffic will be
maintained but through traffic will be prohibited. The detour will use SR
126 and Chapel Road.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and full
closure. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
