State Route 131 lane closures in effect
Clermont County (Tuesday,
May 7, 2019) - Pavement repair and two-lane resurfacing on State
Route 131 started last month.
Various lane closures
on SR 131 between U.S. 50 and SR 727 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. will continue
until approximately Friday, May 17.
Traffic is being
maintained with flaggers however, delays are expected.
Motorists may want to seek alternate routes.
Once the daily lane
closures are completed, work will shift to nightly lane closures from 8 p.m.
until 7 a.m. the following day.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane
closures. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
