State Route 177 closure scheduled for culvert repair
 
Preble County (Thursday, May 25, 2017) – Culvert repair requires closing State Route 177 south of SR 725 (mile marker 3.08) for five days beginning Monday, May 29.  
 
Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, May 29, SR 177 will be closed between just south of SR 725 and Morning Sun Road until approximately 3 p.m. Friday, June 2. The detour uses SR 177, SR 725, U.S. 127 and Oxford Germantown Road.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
