State Route 177 full closure scheduled for
culvert replacement
Butler County (Monday, Sept. 24, 2018) - Culvert replacement requires a
full closure of State Route 177 (Hamilton-Richmond Road) beginning Monday, Oct.
1.
SR 177 will be closed
just north of SR 73 in Milford Township from 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1 until
approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5.
Local traffic will be
maintained but through traffic will be prohibited. The detour uses SR 73, U.S.
27 (S. Patterson Avenue and E. High Street in Oxford) and SR 732 (N. Main
Street in Oxford).
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the
upcoming work zone and full closure. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
