State Route 264/Taylor Road new signal
activation scheduled
Hamilton County (Friday, June 29, 2018) - The new traffic signal at State
Route 264 (Bridgetown Road ) and Taylor Road will be activated beginning
Monday, July 9.
Prior to full
activation, the new traffic signal will be placed on FLASH MODE (yellow/red)
from Monday morning until approximately 9 a.m. Thursday, July 12, when it will
be switched to FULL ACTIVATION (green/yellow/red). Please use
caution when approaching this new signal.
At this time, the
detour to Rybolt Road will be removed and SR 264 will be reopen to traffic.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming new traffic signal
and road opening. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
