State Route 32/Interstate 275 construction update

State Route 32/Interstate 275 construction update

Clermont County (Wednesday, July 23, 2014) – As work progresses on the State Route 32/Interstate 275 interchange, the following will take place the week of July 28:

The existing ramp from eastbound SR 32 to Eastgate Blvd. will close and the new ramp, which traverses atop the tunnel and is located to the west of Eastgate Blvd., will open in its place.

Also, access to eastbound SR 32 from Eastgate Blvd. will be closed for 120 days for construction of a new ramp with traffic detoured to North Access Road to Glen Este Withamsville. The ramp is scheduled to open to traffic before Thanksgiving.

This work will require the permanent closure of Eastgate Square, located at the McDonalds on SR 32.  Motorists will no longer have access to SR 32 at Eastgate Square, or vice versa, after July 28.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
