State Route 343 scheduled for culvert
replacement
Greene
County (Friday, July 28, 2017) - Culvert
replacement requires closing State Route 343 for five days beginning Monday,
July 31.
Beginning at 7 a.m., SR
343 will be closed east of Swimming Pool Road and west of Jackson Street until
3:30 p.m. Friday, August 4.
The detour will use
U.S. Route 68, SR 794 and SR 72.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road
closure.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
