State Route 503 full
closure scheduled for culvert replacement
Butler County (Thursday, May 25, 2017) – Culvert
replacement requires closing State Route 503 beginning Monday, June 12.
Beginning at 7
a.m. Monday, June 12, SR 503 will be closed between Mill and Van Trump roads
until approximately Monday, July 3. The detour uses SR 503, SR 744, U.S. 127
and SR 725.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the road closure. All work
is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
