Traffic switch scheduled at SR 125/Five Mile Road

Traffic switch scheduled at State Route 125/Five Mile Road intersection

Hamilton County (Wednesday, July 20, 2016) – A traffic switch is scheduled for the State Route 125/Five Mile Road intersection project tonight, which requires the following changes:

·         North and southbound Five Mile Road will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes in each direction at the intersection.

·         The dedicated right turn lane from eastbound SR 125 to southbound Five Mile Road, in front of the PNC Bank, will be closed. The right turn will be shared with the through-eastbound lane. There will be no change to westbound SR 125.

This configuration will remain in place for approximately eight weeks.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and traffic switch at this intersection.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
