Tree trimming requires short-term closure on SR 177

REVISED
Tree trimming requires short-term closure on State Route 177

Butler County (Monday, Feb. 6, 2017) – Tree trimming on SR 177 just north of SR 130 will begin Monday, Feb. 13 for approximately 30 days.

SR 177 will be closed just north of SR 130 each weekday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., with the detour using SR 130, U.S. 27 and SR 73. Also, a single lane closure utilizing portable traffic signals will be in effect outside of the 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. closure.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure and/or lane closure. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
