U.S. Route 27 lane restrictions scheduled for resurfacing and bridge replacement
Butler County (Monday, April 17, 2017) – Resurfacing U.S. 27 between Stillwell-Beckett Road and Southpointe Parkway, and replacing the bridge over Lick Run, require lane restrictions on U.S. 27 beginning Monday, April 24.
Bridge replacement on U.S. 27 over Lick Run, just south of Southpointe Parkway, will take place over the summer and once complete, U.S. 27 will be resurfaced. Project completion is scheduled for the end of November, 2017.
Temporary pavement work on U.S. 27 begins Monday, April 24, with one lane of traffic maintained at a time using a temporary traffic signal for alternating north and southbound traffic.
Motorists should expect delays. All work is weather dependent. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane restrictions.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. For ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information, please check www.OHGO.com.
