U.S. 35 closure scheduled for emergency railroad repair work

Preble County (Friday, Dec. 29, 2017) - Due to a broken rail on the railroad, U.S. 35 will be closed for approximately three hours today for emergency repair work.
U.S. 35 will be closed between West Lexington Road and Miller Williams Road/Crosier Drive from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. today. Please use posted detour.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closure and restrictions.
To help ensure the safety of the railroad workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through this area.
