U.S. 68 lane closures scheduled for resurfacing

U.S. Route 68 lane closures scheduled for resurfacing

Greene County (Wednesday, July 27, 2016) – Resurfacing on U.S. 68 south of Brush Row Road in Oldtown to the Clark county line requires lane closures beginning next week.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, August 1, there will be nightly lane closures on U.S. 68 until 6 a.m. the following day. These nightly lane closures will be in effect until early September and traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
