U.S. Route 27 full closure scheduled for culvert
replacement
Butler County (Wednesday, August 22, 2018) - Culvert replacement
requires closing U. S. Route 27 between State Route 129 and SR 130 beginning at
7 a.m. Monday Aug. 27.
U.S. 27 will be closed approximately one-quarter mile south of
Woodbine Road in Hanover Township until approximately 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31.
Local traffic will be maintained but through traffic will be
prohibited. The detour uses SR 129, SR 177 and SR 130.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and full closure. All work is
contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
