U.S. Route 42 lane closures scheduled to begin
Monday, May 6
Greene County (Monday,
April 29, 2019) - Sidewalk installation requires various lane
closures on U.S. Route 42 between Brush Row and Bickett roads beginning Monday,
May 6.
Lane closures will be
in place weekdays from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, May 6 through Friday, May 31
and traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
