U.S. Route 68 closed for culvert replacement
Clinton County (Wednesday, July 5, 2017) - Culvert replacement requires closing
U.S. Route 68 starting next week.
U.S. Route 68 will be
closed just north of Stewart Road beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 10 until
approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20.
The detour will use State
Route 28 and SR 123.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road
closure.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
